Hello Pack 102 Families, I hope your weekend was a good one. This Wednesday, Kiddie Pool Kickball : Love to have fun and get wet?   Then come join us as we beat the summer heat by mashing kiddie pools with slip n' slides for the ultimate game of kickball . Meet us at 6:30 at Twin Oaks Park, 5500 Park Avenue in Rocklin. Be sure to wear swim trunks and your pack t-shirt (if you have one), bring sunscreen and a towel. Parents, you might want to bring chairs too. Snack will be provided. You won't want to miss this very "cool" event. Greetings Pack 102 Families, Our Twilight Camp this year was so much fun. Thank you to all the leaders and parents who came out to help and thank you to the Pioneer Express District. They put on another great camp this year. All our Scouts had a blast making fun crafts like seashell wind chimes, floating sea turtles, and leather tie slides as well as archery, bb guns, climbing the monkey bridge, running the obstacle course and playing fun water games. Hello Pack 102 Families, You are invited to go family style tent camping with our Pack. For our first campout of the summer, we have reserved campsites for the weekend of July 19th-22nd in the Upper Loop of the Van Damme State Park. Three miles south of Mendocino on Highway 1, Van Damme State Park offers a scenic beach, a lush fern-filled forest, and year-round camping. The highway runs through the park, separating the campground and the Fern Canyon trail head to the east from the beach and parking lot to the west. Visitors can fish for abalone or launch a kayak in a protected cove. They can explore a pygmy forest. They can hike, jog, or bicycle the splendid Fern Canyon Scenic Trail beside Little River. Of all the park system's units along the Mendocino coast, Van Damme is perhaps the richest in terms of historical resources connected with the redwood lumber industry.  Van Damme is a great place for hiking, biking, birding, jogging, kayaking, botaniz...
