Good Evening Pack Families, I hope you all had a great Winter Break. Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 in the classrooms at Ruhkala Elementary School.  Please have your son in uniform, with handbook and dues. Bear Den: The Bear Den will be having a Fire Station Tour this Wednesday. Please meet at 6:15pm at Rocklin Fire Station 3, 2001 Wildcat Blvd., next to the Taco Bell on the corner of Wildcat Blvd. and Stanford Ranch Road. Please have your scouts in their uniforms. Scouting for Food, March 3rd: This Saturday, March 3rd is our annual food drive, " Scouting for Food ". This is such an important community service that scouting units participate in to help replenish local food closets every year.  We would love to have all of you come out and give us an hour or two of your time. Hello Pack Families, I hope everyone had a great weekend. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week due to the school break.We will see you all back next week on February 28th. Santa Cruz Overnighter: We have 2 spots that have come open as a family who registered is now unable to attend. If you would still like to go, please let me know and you can take over their spots. The cost is $80.00 per person. Camping Trip Dates: We have schedule three great camping trips this summer for our Pack. Here are the following dates and locations to help you plan your summer: June 8th - 10th: Sugar Pine Point, Lake Tahoe July 13th - 16th - Van Damme State Park August 3rd - 6th - Lassen Volcanic National Park As we get closer to each camping trip, an email and sign-up site link will be sent out with more information and cost. Hello Cub Scout Families, I hope you all had a great weekend. Wow! Saturday we had our biggest and best Pinewood Derby ever!! What an amazing day! We registered 125 awesome and creative cars.  Congratulations to all the winners and a huge thank you to Cubmaster Bob, Kevin Osborne and Jason Brown for heading up our Derby this year, and to their spectacular Pit Crew, they ran a flawless race, to our ever so helpful Boy Scouts, and especially to our fantastic MC, Mike Smith, who rocked the sound system and kept us so very entertained, you all were fantastic this year!  Also, thank you to all our leaders and parents who came and helped us set up, run our craft tables, and clean up and to the Webelos 2 den for the wonderful food at our Pinewood Derby Cafe.  You all helped make our Pinewood Derby such a fun event! Welcome Race Fans!!!!   Our exciting Pinewood Derby is finally here!! Race Day is tomorrow, February 10th i n the Multi-Use Room at Ruhkala Elementary.   What a great time this will be!  Racing! Crafts! Awards! Food! Fun! Opening flags are at 2:30.  Please have your scouts attend in uniform. If you still need to register your car, registration will be from 1:30 - 2:00pm. Please be on time so that we can get you entered into the system in time for the race. Pinewood Derby Cafe: Get you engines started and your grub on at the Annual Pinewood Derby Cafe! Succulent Burgers, and Jumbo Dogs.  plus chips or fruit, drinks and enough candy and cookies to get you across the finish line.
