Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Cub Scout Families,

I hope you all had a great weekend. Wow! Saturday we had our biggest and best Pinewood Derby ever!! What an amazing day! We registered 125 awesome and creative cars.  Congratulations to all the winners and a huge thank you to Cubmaster Bob, Kevin Osborne and Jason Brown for heading up our Derby this year, and to their spectacular Pit Crew, they ran a flawless race, to our ever so helpful Boy Scouts, and especially to our fantastic MC, Mike Smith, who rocked the sound system and kept us so very entertained, you all were fantastic this year! 

Also, thank you to all our leaders and parents who came and helped us set up, run our craft tables, and clean up and to the Webelos 2 den for the wonderful food at our Pinewood Derby Cafe.  You all helped make our Pinewood Derby such a fun event! We so appreciate all of you.

Den Meetings:
Due to the Valentines Day holiday there will be no den meetings this week except for the Webelos 2 Den..

Webeleos 2 Den:
The Webelos 2 Den will be meeting this week at your normal time on Wednesday at 6:30 to continue working on your Arrow of Light requirements.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Overnighter - Last Call:
There is still time if you would like to sign up for the 5th Annual Boardwalk Spring Jam on March 16-17 at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The Early Bird Price is $80.00 per person. Event T-shirts are an additional $15.00 per person.

I will be registering our group this Tuesday so please sign up on our Sign-up site, see link below, and contact me to arrange a time to turn in your payment as soon as possible.  Also if ordering a t-shirt, please make of note of how many and what sizes.

Cub Scouts This Week!

Hi Pack Families, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Lions: You will be meeting this week in the Library. Tigers/Wolves: You will continue to be outdoors this week to work on your Rolling Tigers Elective Adventure and learn about bike safety. Scouts, please bring your bike or scooter, helmet and wear light colored clothing instead of your uniform and bring your handbook.  Bears: You will be continuing to work on your Bear Claws adventure this week so you will be meeting at Mr. Max's House, 5169 Camden Road, close to Breen Elementary. Scouts should bring a knife (if they have one), otherwise there will be extras for you to use. Parents, you will need to stay with your Scout for this meeting. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth Sales Continue!

Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business. Your help is really needed to make this a successful fundraiser for us again this year.
