Cub Scouts This Week: Kiddie Pool Kickball!

Hello Pack 102 Families,

I hope your weekend was a good one.

This Wednesday, Kiddie Pool Kickball:
Love to have fun and get wet?  Then come join us as we beat the summer heat by mashing kiddie pools with slip n' slides for the ultimate game of kickball.

Meet us at 6:30 at Twin Oaks Park, 5500 Park Avenue in Rocklin. Be sure to wear swim trunks and your pack t-shirt (if you have one), bring sunscreen and a towel. Parents, you might want to bring chairs too. Snack will be provided. You won't want to miss this very "cool" event.

We will be setting up at 6:00 so if any of you can come early to help out, please let me know.

Wednesday, September 4th, Ice Cream Social:
Next Wednesday, September 4th everyone is invited to our annual Ice Cream Social and Recruiting Night. This will be in the multi-purpose room at Ruhkala Elementary School, starting at 6:30. Scouts, please wear your Class A uniforms.
 
If you have a friend who might be interested in joining Cub Scouts, this would be the perfect time to invite them to come and learn about scouting.  This is a great start to our new year and, of course, eat ICE CREAM!! It will be a fun night for the whole family!

Pack Roster:
If you are receiving this email and your son will no longer be scouting with us, please reply to let me know so we can update our Pack Roster and let the den leaders know.

Webelos 1 Leader(s) Needed:
As we gear up for our den meetings to start in a couple of weeks, we really need some adventurous parent volunteers to head up our Webelos 1 Den (4th Graders) since Jodey had to quit. So if you are interested in joining our Pack Leadership Team as a Den Leader, Co-leader, or Assistant Den Leader, please contact me. Webelos have a lot of fun Adventures and being a Den Leader is a very rewarding experience. It is great Parent Volunteers who help make our Pack great

Hi Pack Families, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Lions: You will be meeting this week in the Library. Tigers/Wolves: You will continue to be outdoors this week to work on your Rolling Tigers Elective Adventure and learn about bike safety. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth Sales Continue!

Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business. Your help is really needed to make this a successful fundraiser for us again this year.
