Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth: Still More Help Needed!!!

Hi Cub Scout Families,

I hope you all had a good weekend.  Due to Fireworks Sales, there will be no scheduled pack activities this week.

Fireworks Booth, More Help Needed:
Our booth opens this Thursday and we still desperately need more parents to sign up to help us run it.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and it  elps us fund so much, it buys / maintains all our Pack equipment and camping gear as well as all the awards, badges, supplies and food for so many events, etc. It is the reason we can provide such a quality program for all our Scouts and families and keep your costs down. Your participation is crucial to the success of this fundraiser.

It takes a village to make our Pack great and you are that village. Please don't think someone else will do it. That someone else may need to be YOU!

We really do have a lot more slots that need to be filled, especially for those shifts that do not have any one signed up yet.  I will be there to fill in if needed, but I can't run the booth by myself especially on the 4th which is when we do half our sales.

So if you have signed up yet for a shift, or even have friends or family who would like to participate, that would be awesome. Just go to our Sign-up site at: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c094ca4ac22a6f49-fireworks

Note: Unfortunately kids under 18 aren't allowed in the booth with the parents but we plan to have an easy up, chairs and some fans set up outside. Older Scouts can even spin our TNT sign on the corner if they want.

Delivery and Set-up Help Needed Tomorrow:
Our fireworks will be delivered tomorrow between 8am and 12pm. I still need a few people to volunteer to come help me check in our inventory, load it in the storage container and start labeling the booth .The driver is supposed let me know about 30 minutes before he gets there so if any of you are available during that time and able and willing to help, please let me know and I can contact you when the driver calls me about the delivery.

Fireworks Flyer:
Also, getting the word out is important to our success. Attached is our Fireworks flyer, please use it to email out to all your local friends and family, to help us spread the news that we are selling fireworks again this year. Facebook and Twitter postings would be awesome too. Our booth is in the Bank of America shopping center at the corner of Sunset and Park and will be open for business starting at noon on Thursday..

Thank you in advance for your time and for supporting Pack 102. We so appreciate it and we look forward to this being another successful fundraiser this year..

Have a great week!

Miss JoAnn
