Cub Scouts This Week: Veterans Day Flags!

Hello Cub Scout Families,

I hope you all had a great weekend and a fun Halloween last week.

Den Meetings:
We have regular den meetings this week at 6:30 in the classrooms at Ruhkala Elementary School. Please have your son in his uniform with handbook and dues.

Classrooms:
Our Lion Den will be meeting in the Kindergarten class K-3. The Wolf den will be moving into the Portable Room L just off the blacktop and the Webelos 1 den will be split between Rooms 25 and 26 with Mr. Manny's Patrol in Room 25 and Mr. Jason's in Room 26. If you have any questions as to which room your scout will be in, please contact me.

Webelos 2 Den:
Webelos 2 families, you will be having a Troop visit this Wednesday with Troop 349. Please meet at the Rocklin Community Center, 5480 5th Street in Rocklin at 7:00pm. Please have your Scout in full uniform.

Veterans Day Flags - November 10th:
Our Pack has once again been invited by Troop 29 to participate in placing the flags and crosses at the Rocklin Cemetery to honor our Veterans. This year we will be meeting on Saturday, November 10th at 7:45am.  Please have Scouts in uniform.

The Pack will be providing doughnuts.  It only takes about an hour to get all of the flags out and our Scouts always have a good time while learning to show respect to those who have served our country so faithfully..

The flags will be taken down on Monday, November 12th at 4:30pm, and you are also invited to help participate.  That takes only about 30 minutes.

Help Needed for our November Raffle Fundraiser:
This year we will be having our Pack meeting/Smoke-off Dinner and Raffle Fundraiser on Wednesday, November 28th. We need help in soliciting donations for our Raffle prizes and baskets.  We are looking for volunteers to go out and help solicit donations from local businesses, like restaurants, fun activity places and so on, feel free to be creative.. If any of you are interested, please contact me and I can give you some donation letters to hand out.

Also, if you own your own business, have a generous boss, or would personally like to make a donation, we would greatly appreciate it. Possible donations would be gift cards, passes, gift baskets, toys or sporting goods items and/or money to help us purchase cool prizes.

The money we raise helps go towards providing a quality program for our cub scouts. Please contact me as soon as possible if you can help us with this.

Hi Pack Families, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth Sales Continue!

Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business.
