Cub Scouts This Week: Den Meetings Resume!

Hello Cub Scout Families,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Nice to see the sun out again. 

Our Christmas Tree Pick-up Fundraiser is now completed. Yay!! We picked up approximately 550 trees this year and took in over $8700.00 in donations so another very successful year. Not sure how the dollar amount breaks down between our Pack and the Troop yet but a huge thank you to all our Pack families that went out each cold morning and picked up trees. Your volunteering your time helps us continue to provide a quality program for our Scouts and makes our Pack such a great one.

Den Meetings:
All dens have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30. We are going to start meeting at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin, and using some of their classrooms.  

Please come a few minutes early so we can let you know what classroom your Scout will be meeting in. We haven't quite figured out where each den will be just yet.  Also, please have your Scout in uniform, with their handbook, den binder and dues. 

Pinewood Derby Information:
Our Pinewood Derby is a little over a month away, on Saturday, February 12th. I have attached our Official Pinewood Derby Rules in case you still need them.

This is one of our best events of the year. The scouts always have a ton of fun. We handed out the Official BSA derby kits at our Christmas Pack Meeting. If your scout didn't receive one, I will be bringing some more kits to the den meetings this week so come and find me. 

We will also be having a Sibling race and a Parent (Pro Class) race so if any of you are interested in either of those races, you can pick up additional kits as well.

This is one of the highlights of our year and we look forward to everyone participating.

Hi Pack Families, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Lions: You will be meeting this week in the Library. Tigers/Wolves: You will continue to be outdoors this week to work on your Rolling Tigers Elective Adventure and learn about bike safety. Scouts, please bring your bike or scooter, helmet and wear light colored clothing instead of your uniform and bring your handbook.  Bears: You will be continuing to work on your Bear Claws adventure this week so you will be meeting at Mr. Max's House, 5169 Camden Road, close to Breen Elementary. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth Sales Continue!

Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business.
