Hello Cub Scout Families,

The following dens will not be meeting at Ruhkala this week:

Lions Den: No meeting this week.

Bear Den: You will be working on the final stages of Baloo the Builder.  Please meet in the Lumber Section at Home Depot, 10001 Fairway Drive, Roseville, CA from at 6:30.

Veterans Day Flags - This Saturday, November 9th:
Our Pack has once again been invited by Troop 29 to participate in placing the flags and crosses at the Rocklin Cemetery to honor our Veterans. This year we will be meeting on Saturday, November 9th at 7:45am.  Please have Scouts in uniform. Doughnuts will be provided.  It only takes about an hour to get all of the flags out and our Scouts always have a good time while learning to show respect to those who have served our country so faithfully..

Below is the link to the Troop's sign up site. If you plan on attending, please sign up under the category - Cub Scouts, so we will know how many will be coming.

The flags will be taken down on Monday, November 12th at 4:00pm, and you are also invited to help participate.  That takes only about 30 minutes.

Help Needed for our November Raffle Fundraiser:
This year we will be having our Pack meeting/Smoke-off Dinner and Raffle Fundraiser on Wednesday, November 20th. I still need volunteers to help in soliciting donations for our Raffle prizes and baskets.  We are looking for volunteers to go out and help solicit donations from local businesses, like restaurants, fun activity places and so on, feel free to be creative.. If any of you are interested, please contact me and I can give you some donation letters to hand out.

Also, if you own your own business, have a generous boss, or would personally like to make a donation, we would greatly appreciate it. Possible donations would be gift cards, passes, gift baskets, toys or sporting goods items and/or money to help us purchase cool prizes.

The money we raise helps go towards providing a quality program for our cub scouts. Please contact me as soon as possible if you can help us with this.

We appreciate your support of our Pack.

See's Christmas Candy Sales:

This year your Scout will have an opportunity to earn money for his Pack Scout Account by pre-selling See's Christmas Candy.  All profit goes to the Scout's account. Scout Accounts can be used for anything scouting related like camping trips, pack outings, re-charter, uniforms and gear/goodies from the Scout Store.  This not only helps him earn money for Scouting, but helps save your wallet!

Attached is the order form for the 2019 See's Winter Fundraising Program.  All money must be collected and turned in with your order no later than December 4th so I can place our order and pick up candy in time for you to hand out before the Christmas Break.

Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Miss JoAnn
