Cub Scouts This Week: Recharter Due!

Hello Pack Families,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend enjoying the extremely nice weather for this time of year. Thank you to all our Scouts and families who came out to the Rocklin Cemetery on Saturday to place the flags and crosses on the graves to honor our Veterans. We had a great turnout.  Way to represent Pack 102! So proud of our boys, they did an amazing job as they honored those who have served our country so faithfully!

Den Meetings:
We have regular den meetings in the classrooms at Ruhkala at 6:30.

Webelos 1 Girls Den: You will be meeting in Room 24 this week.

Lions Den: You will be meeting in room K-2 this week.

Bear Den: You will be meeting off site at Brian Trainer's house.  The address is 2003 Sculpin Way, Rocklin, CA from 6:30-7:30.  

Mr. Manny's Webelos 2 Den: No meeting this week as you will be visiting Troop 29 on Thursday.

Recharter Payment Due:
It is that time of year again where our Pack recharters with the BSA for next year. The Recharter fee covers all of 2020. Unfortunately our Council has raised their fees for next year considerably so our recharter fee will be $100.00 per Scout.  The Boy's Life magazine subscription is an additional $12.00 for the year, if you choose to renew it. This is a wonderful magazine for the boys with great articles, funnies and jokes.  I would encourage you to renew the subscription for your son. 

For those families who are new to our Pack and signed up since the beginning of the school year, since you just paid a prorated fee that covered through the end of 2019, you will still need to pay the recharter fee this month for all of next year.

Webelos 2 Den:: Since you will be crossing over into Boy Scouts early next year, your recharter fee will only be $70.00 and an additional $12.00 if you want the magazine.
 
To make it easier, we will soon have a form up on our website for you to use to pay your recharter fee with a credit card.

Please go to our website at: www.pack102.com and click on the little Scout icon to make your payment. Payments are due by November 20th so I will have time to get all the paperwork submitted to council by our deadline of December 1st.
 
Note: If your son is no longer going to continue scouting with our Pack, please email me and let me know as soon as possible so we can adjust our roster before submitting our recharter paperwork.

See's Christmas Candy Sales:

This year your Scout will have an opportunity to earn money for his Pack Scout Account by pre-selling See's Christmas Candy.  All profit goes to the Scout's account. Scout Accounts can be used for anything scouting related like camping trips, pack outings, re-charter, uniforms and gear/goodies from the Scout Store.  This not only helps him earn money for Scouting, but helps save your wallet! 


Attached is the order form for the 2019 See's Winter Fundraising Program.  All money must be collected and turned in with your order no later than December 4th so I can place our order and pick up candy in time for you to hand out before the Christmas Break.

Hi Pack Families, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth Sales Continue!

Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business.
