Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Cub Scout Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

Den Meetings:. 
This Wednesday we have our regular den meetings at Ruhkala Elementary School at 6:30.  Please have your Scout in uniform, with his handbook and den dues ($2.00, which go to your son's den leader to help cover the costs of supplies for the den).

The following dens won't be meeting this week at Ruhkala:

Lions Den (Kindergarten):
There is no Lion Den meeting this week.

Wolf Den:
This Wednesday the Wolf Den will be meeting at Miss Nina's house, 6385 Rustic Hills Drive. You will be having a campfire and roast marshmallows for smores. A parent is required to be with each scout.

Popcorn Take-order Sales:
Yes, it is that time of year again. Popcorn take-order sales have begun.  This is a great time to sell to friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. They have some new products to sell as well as some returning favorites.

Your scout can earn Amazon gift cards based on the amounts of popcorn he sells and the 30% profit made from selling is going directly into your son's scout account. This is a great way to help pay for camping trips, overnighters, uniform items or anything else scouting related.

If  you haven't yet received an order for, please let me know and I will get you one. Please collect the money when you make the sale. You can have checks made out to Pack 102. Take order forms and money are due by October 16th. The orders will be delivered early-November.
 
Online Sales:
In addition to site sales, we are allowed to sell online. If you have family and friends who live out of town, please take advantage of this. It is an easy process to get started.  All you have to do is go online to: sell.trails-end.com and set up an account.  Then you can e-mail family and friends directly from the site asking them to support your cub scout.  Their order ships right to them without you having to lift a finger.  Again, it is that simple.

Don't forget, you can go to our Pack's website to check out our Google Calendar at: http://www.pack102.com/calendar  This will give you an idea of the activities and events we have planned throughout the year.

Hi Pack Families, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Lions: You will be meeting this week in the Library. Tigers/Wolves: You will continue to be outdoors this week to work on your Rolling Tigers Elective Adventure and learn about bike safety. Scouts, please bring your bike or scooter, helmet and wear light colored clothing instead of your uniform and bring your handbook.  Bears: You will be continuing to work on your Bear Claws adventure this week so you will be meeting at Mr. Max's House, 5169 Camden Road, close to Breen Elementary. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth Sales Continue!

Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business. Your help is really needed to make this a successful fundraiser for us again this year.
