Cub Scouts This Week: Pinewood Derby Workshop!!

Hello Pack Families,

I hope you had a great weekend. Looks like we are in for quite a bit of rain this week so batten down the hatches.

Den Meetings:
We have regular den meetings this week at 6:30 in the classrooms at Ruhkala Elementary School, except for the following dens:

Tiger Den:
Tigers, you will be meeting this week at Miss Heather's house, 6473 Camellia Point Way at 6:30.

Mr. Jason's Webelos 1 Den:
You will not be having a meeting this week

Pinewood Derby Workshop, This Saturday, January 19th:
If you haven't had a chance to start on your car yet, or just need extra help, we will be holding a workshop on Saturday, January 19th from 10am - 12pm (weather permitting) at the Stones' House, 1931 Sanderling Court in Rocklin. Please bring your derby kits, and great ideas 

If you didn't receive a car kit at our Christmas pack meeting, we will have kits available at the workshop. We will also be having a sibling and Pro Class (parents) race so you can purchase a kit for them for $4.00.

We will be serving doughnuts and hot chocolate.

If you have tools that you think might be helpful, please bring them and if anyone can come a little early to help set up, that would be great. Still looking for a few leaders or parents who are good at woodworking to help with teaching and supervision. Please let me know if you can come help out.

Hi Pack Families, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Lions: You will be meeting this week in the Library. Tigers/Wolves: You will continue to be outdoors this week to work on your Rolling Tigers Elective Adventure and learn about bike safety. Scouts, please bring your bike or scooter, helmet and wear light colored clothing instead of your uniform and bring your handbook.  Bears: You will be continuing to work on your Bear Claws adventure this week so you will be meeting at Mr. Max's House, 5169 Camden Road, close to Breen Elementary. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth Sales Continue!

Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business. Your help is really needed to make this a successful fundraiser for us again this year.
