Hello Pack Families,

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I am so thankful to be a part of our awesome Pack family. We have such a wonderful group of parents, leaders and especially our boys. It is my great joy and privilege to work along side each and every one of you to help make our Pack so successful . I always have so much fun and I truly can't imagine doing anything I love more.

Rocklin Christmas Tree Lighting Event, Saturday, December 1st:
Saturday, December 1st, the City of Rocklin along with our Charter Organization, the Kiwanis Club will be hosting their Annual Tree Lighting Event. This is an all free event for the children of the community and will be held this year at Rocklin's Quarry Park 4000 Rocklin Rd. Rocklin, CA 95677. Come celebrate the holiday season with your family and friends.  Bring the kids for a fun-filled evening with Santa, face painting, cookies, hot chocolate, cider, performances by local musical groups, and the lighting of Rocklin's Christmas tree at 7:00pm.

Tree Lighting Popcorn Booth Help Needed:
The Kiwanis have asked us to serve popcorn once again this year and we will need some help with this. We are looking for a few parents to help us set up our both at 12:00 pm, and then some more to help with running our popcorn booth, making and serving the popcorn, starting at 2:30.

If you are available and would like to help us, even if only for and hour, please email me to let me know. This is an awesome event and a great way for our Pack to be of service to our community. Scouts are welcome to come help too.

Christmas Pack Meeting Help Needed:
Our Christmas pack meeting is a little over two weeks away on Wednesday, December 12th and we could really use your help this year with the following:

Craft Tables:  We are looking for at least 8 parents or parent teams, who could head up and run a fun craft table at the Pack meeting.  Last year we had a simple cookie decorating table,  a candy cane reindeer, and a snowflake ornament table and more. Please help me out with fun ideas and a willingness to help kids make something fun in a short period of time.   Please let me know what you would be willing to help with.

Snow Ball Preparation:  Our snowball fight is always the crowd pleaser!  We need some dads to help set this up again this year.  We need sturdy cardboard barricades (made from refrigerator boxes from RC Willey) so if any of you have a truck and can pick a few boxes up for us that would be great. We also need paper snowballs made in advance from copy paper. Just bring as many as you can make in a garbage bag or two..

Cookies, Snacks, Cocoa, etc:  please plan on bringing a plate of goodies to share; cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc. Doesn't have to be homemade, store bought is great too!  We also need someone to be in charge of helping serve hot chocolate.

Please drop me an email as soon as possible to let me know what you can help with.  Thanks in advance for helping to make our Pack Christmas Party a fun experience for our boys and families.

Miss JoAnn
