Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families,

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.

Den Meetings:
Since there is a Fusion Dance Performance this week at Ruhkala, there will be no meetings there. The following dens have made other plans:

Tiger Den
Tigers, you will be hiking the Miner's Ravine Trail.this Wednesday.  Please meet at 6:30pm at the rear of the United Artists movie theater parking lot at 520 N. Sunrise. The Miners Ravine trail runs behind the parking lot.

Webelos 1 Den:
You will be meeting at Mr. Jason's house, 927 Cougar Court in Rocklin, at 6:30 to work on some outdoor cooking.

Webelos 2 Den:
You will not be meeting on Wednesday as you have a Troop visit with Troop 435 on Thursday at 7:00 pm at SS. Peter & Paul Church,  4450 Granite Drive in Rocklin.

Popcorn Take-order Sales- Money and Forms by October 19th:
Just a reminder that if you have been selling popcorn, your money and forms are due of to me by Friday so I can place our order in time. Since we will not be meeting at the school this week, please contact me to arrange a time to drop off your popcorn order and money.

Also, please have your son pick a prize or prizes from the prize form based on his total sales and turn that in too.

Spooky Mini-Golf Night Sign-up!
Our Annual Spooky Mini-Golf & Costume Night at Golfland Sunsplash (meet upstairs) is Wednesday, October 24th, at 6:00pm. Cub scouts and the whole family can come in costume!!!  The cost is $5.00 per person for pizza and soda, and and $8.00 per person for mini-golf.

To make things easier and to try to cut down on the long lines the night of our event, we have set up a form on our website for you to sign up and pay ahead of time with a credit card or Paypal.

Please use the link below for our website and click on the "Scary Pumpkin" to Sign up as soon as possible. Make sure to choose how many will be having pizza and how many will be golfing. That way we will know how many in your group will be attending and how much food and golf wristbands to order.

Webelos 2 Den: Troop 29 Campout!
Webelos 2 Scouts, along with a Parent, are cordially invited to join the Scouts from Rocklin's Troop 29 on our Annual Webelos Camp Out on Saturday, November 3rd at 8:30am through Sunday, November 4th at around 10:00am. We will be camping on the Ride to Walk property, 1630 CA-193 in Lincoln.

This is a great opportunity to see what it is like to be part of our Troop as we take you on the Trail to Tenderfoot - introducing Webelos to the Scout and Tenderfoot requirements.  This will give you a leg up and a head start as you cross over to a new adventure.  

Additionally, we will be learning how to lash poles, build fires, handle knives and axes and lots more!  Fun and games and a campfire are a must-see part of our adventure. 

This will be a great event for our boys with lots of fun and activities. We will be providing all the food (lots of good vittles!) for you and your Akelas. You will just need to bring your own camping gear, tent, sleeping bags, water bottles, etc. and a camp chair. If you can't spend the night, please just come for the day and leave after the campfire.

Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Lions: You will be meeting this week in the Library. Tigers/Wolves: You will continue to be outdoors this week to work on your Rolling Tigers Elective Adventure and learn about bike safety. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business. Your help is really needed to make this a successful fundraiser for us again this year.
