Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families,

I hope you all had a good weekend. Our Pack's Soapbox Derby on Friday was a roaring good time! The boys had a fantastic time as they rode the "Highway to the Danger Zone" racing our Cubmobiles. Thanks to Mr. Bob for being a wonderful race announcer and for the Top Gun soundtrack. It made our evening. A huge thank you to all our leaders, parents, and Boy Scout helpers who picked up tires, set-up, ran our races, manned the Cub Grub Shack and helped clean up. It takes a village to make our Pack so awesome and we have a fabulous one!

Den Meetings:
We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 in the classrooms at Ruhkala Elementary School.  Please have your son in uniform, with handbook and dues.

Webelos 2 Den:
Your meeting tomorrow will be at the Whitney Ranch Community Pool, 851 Old Ranch House Road in Rocklin at 6:00pm. Scouts come in your swim trunks as you are going to get wet.

Popcorn Take-order Sales:
Yes, it is that time of year again. Popcorn take-order sales have begun.  This is a great time to sell to friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. They have some new products to sell as well as some returning favorites.

There are a lot of new, cool prizes that you can earn and this year the 30% profit is going directly into your son's scout account. This is a great way to help pay for camping trips, overnighters, uniform items or anything else scouting related.

 

If you didn't receive a take-order form yet please let me know and I will get you one.  Please collect the money when you make the sale. Take order forms and money are due by October 17th. The orders will be delivered mid-November.
 
Online Sales:
In addition to site sales, we are allowed to sell online. If you have family and friends who live out of town, please take advantage of this. It is an easy process to get started.  All you have to do is go online to: sell.trails-end.com and set up an account.  Then you can e-mail family and friends directly from the site asking them to support your cub scout.  Their order ships right to them without you having to lift a finger.  Again, it is that simple.

Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Lions: You will be meeting this week in the Library. Tigers/Wolves: You will continue to be outdoors this week to work on your Rolling Tigers Elective Adventure and learn about bike safety. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth Sales Continue!

Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business. Your help is really needed to make this a successful fundraiser for us again this year.
