Cub Scouts This Week: Ice Cream Social/Recruiting Night!!

Hi Cub Scout Families,

I hope everyone is having a fun Labor Day weekend.enjoying the nice weather. Everyone had a great time at our Kiddie Pool Kickball night. So fun watching the boys staying cool playing Kickball and sliding into the pools.

Wednesday, Pack Ice Cream Social:
This Wednesday, September 5th, everyone is invited to our annual Ice Cream Social and Recruiting Night. This will be in the multi-purpose room at Ruhkala Elementary School, starting at 6:30. Scouts, please come in your full Class A uniforms.
 
If you have a friend who might be interested in joining Cub Scouts, this would be the perfect time to invite them to come and learn about scouting.  There will be fun games and, of course, ICE CREAM!! It will be a great night for the whole family!

We will be setting up at 5:30 if any of you can come early to help out, we would really appreciate the help.

Webelos 2 Den: You will performing the flag ceremony so if you can come 15 minutes early to practice, that would be great.

Pack Families Contact Information:
As we gear up for our den meetings to begin soon, I am updating our Pack families contact information so our den leaders will have your current info. If you have moved since you first signed up, or you want to change your contact number or email address, please send me your new information. We want to make sure everyone is getting our Pack updates in a timely fashion.

Also, if you have decided not to continue scouting with our Pack, please let me know and I will remove you from our roster and email list. Thank you.

Tiger Den Leader(s) Needed:
As we gear up for our den meetings to start soon, we are still looking for some adventurous parent volunteers to head up our new Tiger Den (1st Graders). If you have registered your son as a new Tiger or are planning on signing him up and are interested in joining our Pack Leadership Team as a Tiger Den Leader, Co-leader, or Assistant Den Leader, please contact me. Tigers are a ton of fun and being a Den Leader is a very rewarding experience. It is great Parent Volunteers who help make our Pack great..

Lions Program:
We will beginning our Lions Program this year for Kindergartners, so if you or someone you have have a child in Kindergarten who is interested in joining Cub Scouts, please  contact me for more information. The Lions program is a basic into into Scouting with den meetings only once or twice a month.

Hi Pack Families, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. Den Meetings: We have regular den meetings this Wednesday at 6:30 at Breen Elementary School, 2751 Breen Drive in Rocklin.  As we are now meeting on the School grounds, both parents and Scouts need to bring a mask to wear. Lions: You will be meeting this week in the Library. Tigers/Wolves: You will continue to be outdoors this week to work on your Rolling Tigers Elective Adventure and learn about bike safety. Scouts, please bring your bike or scooter, helmet and wear light colored clothing instead of your uniform and bring your handbook.  Bears: You will be continuing to work on your Bear Claws adventure this week so you will be meeting at Mr. Max's House, 5169 Camden Road, close to Breen Elementary. Cub Scouts This Week!

Hello Pack Families, I hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year! I can't believe it is already 2022. Looking forward to this year being better than the last and getting back to all of our fun scouting activities. Den Meetings: There are no den meetings this week. Our meetings will resume next week on Wednesday, January 12th. An email will be sent out next week to let you know where we will be meeting. Pack Leader Planning Meeting: We have scheduled a Pack Leader planning meeting for this Tuesday, January 4th at 6:30 at  Cubmaster Nicky's house, 2128 Broken Rail Lane in Rocklin.  We will be planning out the Pack schedule for the next 2-3 months. I apologize for the last minute, trying to coordinate schedules has been challenging. I will be bringing pizza for dinner so if you are able to come, please let me know so I know how much to buy. Cub Scouts This Week: Fireworks Booth Sales Continue!

Hi Cub Scout Families, Hope you are staying cool this weekend. It is a hot one for sure. Due to our Fireworks Sales Fundraiser this week there are no scheduled activities. But speaking of Fireworks, I know like a broken record again, Lol.... Fireworks Booths - Help Needed - More Shifts Still Open!! The following shifts for our Fireworks Booth still have openings that we still need to be filled, especially on the July 3rd and 4th . Those days are where we do most of our business. Your help is really needed to make this a successful fundraiser for us again this year.
